My Story

Asalaam Alaykum everyone!

I am once again (and not long since Istanbul 10k run) raising money for Bangladesh this time InShaAllah. I will be running half a marathon this time (21k) to help raise money to provide safe water for 785 million Bangladeshi's InShaAllah! Please help me raise money through this holy month of Ramadhan and May Allah swt bless you all for helping our Ummah 🥰🤲

I will be paying for my own expenses, not a penny of the donations will go towards funding my expenses.

Sanitation and hygiene are fundamental human rights, yet over 785 million people worldwide live without access to drinking water.

That?s 785 million people who struggle every day to find a fundamental ingredient needed to sustain life. It?s not just drinking water, though ? did you know two out of five humans in the world live without access to soap or a handwashing facility? Without facilities to adequately clean and maintain hygiene, sickness and disease become rife, and every single day, over 800 children die from easily curable illnesses.

At Muslim Charity, we have been campaigning to put an end to this. Every single human in the world deserves access to water and basic hygiene facilities; things we take for granted here in the United Kingdom.

Our Safer Water Campaign was established to deliver those living in extreme poverty solutions to their lack of water. Not only are we providing them with wells, hand pumps, tankers and boreholes but we?re also educating communities on the need for clean water.
