Muslim Charity has been working in Bangladesh for over a decade and our Country Coordinator in Bangladesh, Fazlul Karim, said: The situation here in Bangladesh is absolutely dire. The floods have been described by a government expert as potentially the countrys worst since 2004. Muslim Charity has allocated emergency funding to provide immediate relief to affected families in the Sylhet district. We urge supporters to donate generously to help save and rescue lives.
The immediate needs include cooked food, water, emergency shelter and medical aid.
