More than 267,000 homes have been partially or destroyed. Muslim Charity partners are on the ground.
Heavy rains have resulted in urban and flash floods, landslides, and Glacial Lake Outburst Floods (GLOF) across Pakistan, particularly affecting Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Sindh Provinces. As of 27th August, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) reported that the floods have resulted in 1.033 deaths (including 348 children and 207 women).
Muslim Charity emergency relief teams support flood-affected families by providing cooked meals and monthly food packs.
Our teams are on the ground continuously assessing the situation for planning the rehabilitation and emergency support projects.
The immediate needs include cooked food, water, emergency shelter and medical aid.
