At 4167m, Mount Toubkal is the highest peak in Morocco, the Atlas Mountains, North Africa and the Arab world. I feel the need to stand atop a mountain again, to gaze over clouds below, to be closer to lost loved ones above. So, in honour of my beloved late wife and beloved late father and indeed in sadaqah jariyah, it was thus fitting that I snap up a last minute opportunity to join Muslim Charity's Conquer Mount Toubkal endeavour next month.

 

This charitable challenge aims to raise much needed funds and support for desperate Palestinian families in Gaza. Relentless attacks have led to widespread displacement, with many living in overcrowded conditions or makeshift tents. The region is facing acute shortages of food and clean water, heightening the vulnerability of its inhabitants. The healthcare system is nearing collapse, leaving many without necessary medical care. Muslim Charity has been working in Gaza since 2013, having partnered with UNRWA, which has given unparalleled access to Gaza whenever an emergency occurs. With your kind support, Muslim Charity will continue to distribute vital food, clean water and medical aid, reaching thousands of people.
