IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR DEAREST FATHER & GRANDFATHER, HAJI ABDUL MALIK CHOHAN

Asslaam-Au-Alaikum,

It is with profound respect and gratitude that we gather to honour the cherished memory of our beloved father and grandfather, Haji Abdul Malik Chohan, by the intention of constructing a water well in Pakistan.

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, we unite to celebrate the life and legacy of Haji Abdul Malik Chohan. His existence was firmly grounded in the principles of Islam, inspiring all who knew him through his unwavering devotion to his faith, family, and community.

A father in Islam is not only a protector and provider but also a teacher, nurturer, and role model. Our father and grandfather personified these qualities in every aspect of his life. He exemplified sincerity, humility, and steadfast faith. His love for his family was only rivalled by his devotion to Allah and his relentless desire to assist others, particularly those in need. He lived by the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah, consistently striving to uphold justice, kindness, and patience in every moment he encountered.

He was truly the best to us. His gentle guidance and unwavering prayers for our well-being have shaped us into who we are today. Through his example, he demonstrated the significance of honesty, integrity, and compassion. Each lesson he imparted was rooted in the values of our faith, and he consistently encouraged us to seek Allah's pleasure in all our endeavours.

His passing has created an irreplaceable void in our hearts; however, we find solace in the knowledge that his deeds will endure. 
As stated in the Qur’an, 

"And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith, We will join their descendants with them, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds" (Qur'an 52:21). 

Through charitable acts like these, his legacy continues to flourish, and his good deeds remain a source of blessings, In Sha Allah.
To honour his memory and commitment to helping others, we are undertaking the construction of a water well in Pakistan. 

This initiative represents Sadaqah Jariyah — a continuous charity that will benefit him even after his passing from this world. The Prophet ﷺ stated, "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: a continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them." (Sahih Muslim). 

This water well will serve as a lasting reminder of his kindness and generosity, providing relief to those in need for years to come.
We pray to Allah, the Most Merciful, to accept this charitable act on behalf of our beloved father/grandfather. 

May he forgive his sins, grant him peace in his grave, and elevate his status in the Hereafter. May Allah make his grave a garden from the gardens of Jannah and reunite us with him in the highest ranks of Jannah, in the company of the Prophets and the righteous.

In the meantime, we are eternally grateful for the time we shared with him. His love, guidance, and presence will always be with us. We feel blessed to have had him as a father/grandfather, and we pray that his legacy continues to inspire others, just as it inspired us.

‎إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
"Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return."
