For those that know me, you all know how much my hair and charity mean to me . I have decided its time to shave /cut off my hair and support 2 projects that mean a lot to me . 

Children of the World/Street Children

The UN estimates that there are 150 million children living on the street. This is perhaps a conservative estimate, as reporting and recording is very difficult, and the real figure is thought to be much higher. They are living in fear, without protection, food or hope for their futures. They are at huge risk of exploitation, abuse, forced prostitution, trafficking, forced labour and slavery.

As one of the major charities for street children, we support street children in Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Rebuilding the lives of flood victims in Pakistan
Muslim Charity reached out to flood affected families during flooding through essential food, non-food items and water supplies and post flood rehabilitation and till today we have built 504 houses for flood affected families. In year 2023 we have executed our first Adopt a Village project for flood affected families in Sindh, Pakistan and built 100 houses village which includes permanent houses, community hall, Park for families, solar light system, solar water supply, community hall and Mosque.

Muslim Charity has identified a village, Habib Shoro in Sindh, Pakistan. The villagers are not only flood affected but also belong to ultra-poor section of society. Almost all the households’ livelihood depend on daily labour. The community lives in temporary settings like tents, shanty shelters (makeshift shelters made of bamboo and tarpaulin) and mud houses and all of their belongings were destroyed during the 2022 flood. The primary objective of our project is to build a model village where families will have their own permanent one-room house and other basic facilities. This project is designed to bring hope, resilience, and sustainable development to the small community of Village Habib Shoro.

£25 will rescue a child (zakah eligible)

£250 a share of masjid construction (Sadaqa lillah only)

£500 will support new business for (zakah eligible family)

£750 will be build a new home for a family (zakah eligible)

Please help me provide hope to these vulnerable communities, once I've reached my target I will shave my hair off lol.
